Living Library – Stories of Arrival
January 21, 6:00 p.m. | Malzhaus Gallery
As part of the double exhibition “Fractures” and “It Is Not Quiet in My Head”
On January 21, we warmly invite you to a special Living Library at the Malzhaus Gallery. Instead of printed books, you will meet people – four to six individuals with migration histories who will share their personal stories of arrival.
In an open and appreciative atmosphere, they speak about their experiences, challenges, and hopes. They tell how it felt to gain a foothold in a new country, which fractures, surprises, or meaningful encounters accompanied them – and what gave them strength along the way.
Our Living Library creates space for dialogue: you can ask questions, engage in conversation, and discover new perspectives. Every encounter is unique and invites you to break down prejudices, deepen understanding, and build genuine connections.
Come by, listen, ask questions – and be moved by stories that inspire courage and reflection.
We look forward to an inspiring evening together with you!
